As an important agronomic trait, the chlorophyll (Chl) content is closely related to
photosynthesis in plants. A rice mutant Gc (Oryza sativa indica) was characterized
previously by its enhanced Chl content (Chl b and total Chl) and exaggerated photosynthetic
